International marketing division (ASIA, AFRICA, MIDDLE-EAST, OCEANIA) helps in coordination between Commercial Sections ASIA, AFRICA, MIDDLE-EAST and OCEANIA regions and product divisions of TDAP for speedy and effective disposal of references. The Division has developed its Annual Business Plan for FY 2020-21. In its Annual Busines Plan, it has planned to break market entry barriers in African, Middle East, Oceania and Asian Countries for Pakistan products in coordination with Commercial Sections Abroad and Product Divisions of TDAP. Commercial Sections often refer many potential Pakistani companies for credential verification to the Division which helps them correct and verified matchmaking with potential buyers. Commercial Sections of the region share trade leads and queries with IMDD which are referred to relevant Product Divisions of TDAP for expeditious action. IMDD ensures that these trade leads and queries are timely and effectively reaped off. The Division has recently prepared a detailed analysis of COVID-I impact on Pakistan’s exports to the ASIA, AFRICA, MIDDLE-EAST, OCEANIA and suggested way forward to mitigate this in the near future. The Division has been planning to subscribe Buyers database to improve marketing analysis and matchmaking processes between Pakistan’s exporters and potential importers of the region.
The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), which is continuation of erstwhile Export Promotion Bureau, is a premier government agency mandated to develop programs and projects directed at maximum exploitation of the available export market access to the country.
The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) is mandated to conduct & coordinate with Stake Holders for their issues, facilitation, policy & planning. In this regard, Export Promotion Committees have established in TDAP to facilitate the Stake Holders. Meetings with Trade associations is the regular job of TDAP.
